How to create comments system using PHP and MYSQL

Hello Programmers this is my first lesson in PHP and it talk about how to make and create system comments to your website or any websites you want. All forums use this system and the most of websites.

how,to,create,comments,system,make,comment,php,mysql,database,table,website,forum,blog,wordpress,programmer,lesson
create comment system by using PHP and Mysql @wikihard

I wish you take advantage of the lesson and learn more about PHP programming.

Notice : All big websites use COMMENTS SYSTEM like Facebook, Twiter and google plus.

Facebook Example :

Simple System comments of the Facebook @wikihard

Google+ plus Example :

how,to,create,comments,system,make,comment,php,mysql,database,table,website,forum,blog,wordpress,programmer,lesson
Google plus comment @wikihard

Google and Facebook are using Javascript, but in this topic I will show you how to create a simple system commenst by using PHP & MYSQL only, I need you to learn the basic, then you can improve it yourself!

firstly you must to create a php file called connect.php and put the script bellow in, This file will help us to manipulate between the website and database without any problem.

  Connect.php File :

<?php

$user='username';

$user='username';
$pass='password'; //@wikihard copywrite

$host='localhost'; // if you have a web hosting change this infos

$database='public';

mysql_connect("$host", "$user", "$pass")or die("cannot connect");

mysql_select_db("$database")or die("cannot select DB");

?>

Read more :  3 ways to learn PHP on your own
Read more :  9 tips to become better in programming

When you finish connect.php file, we will start to create new important file called index.php, we will use this page to display our comments and to add more comments too.

<?php

require_once('connect.php');
$message ='';
if(isset($_POST['submit']))
{
if(!empty($_POST['comment']) && !empty($_POST['name']))
{

//created by @wikihard
$comment= $_POST['comment'];
$name= $_POST['name'];
$query = "INSERT INTO `comment` VALUES(NULL,'$name','$comment')";
$qresult = mysql_query($query);
$message="Thank you for comment!";

} else
{
$message="please don't let area empty!";
}

}

$sql = "SELECT * FROM `comment`";
$qsql = mysql_query($sql);

?>
<!DOCTYPE html>
<body>
<?php
while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($qsql))
{
echo "<b>".$row['name']."</b> : </br>";
echo " ".$row['comment'].". </br></br>";
?>
<form method="post" action="index.php">
<input type="text" name="name" placeholder="put your name"></br></br>
<textarea rows="5" cols="25" name="comment" placeholder="write your comment here"></textarea></br></br>
<input type="submit" name="submit" value="post comment">
</form>
<?php echo $message;?>
</body>
</html>

 How it work :

      - First we must call the connect.php file to connect with the database!

      - When we add value and press the button "Add comment", the comment will send and save in the comments table(id,name,comment) in the database.

      - if the fields are empty, will NOT WORK and this message will show for the user "please don't let area empty " Until he put values before submitting.

      - Now we need to display all comments from the database (comments table) to the home page ( index.php ).

      Any question please let a comment! Good luck

      How to install Kali Linux on USB drive

      wikiHard : How to install Kali Linux on USB

      Boot and install Kali from a USB key is our preferred method. To accomplish this, we must first create an ISO image on a USB key. If you want to add persistence with the installation, please read this entire document.

      Prepare the USB key

      1. Download Kali Linux.
      2. If Windows is used, download "Win32 Disk Imager".
      3. No additional software is required for the systems * nix.
      4. A USB (minimum capacity of 2Go)

      Installation procedure Kali Linux on USB key

      Creation from a Windows system

      • Plug your USB stick into your Windows computer and run start "Win32 Disk Imager".
      • Choose the image, ISO, Kali file and make sure that the USB key that will be used is correct.
      how,to,install,kali,linux,usb,lunix,distribution,drive,tools,server,operating,systelm,kernel,distros,free,distro
      Install Kali Linux on USB Drive - @wikihard

      • Once the process is complete, eject the key to the system properly. You can now start Kali Linux from your USB key.

      Creating from a Linux system

      Create a USB key that will start Kali Linux is very simple in a Linux environment. Once you have downloaded the image, use the "dd" command to copy the files on your device.

      warning : even if this process is easy, you can easily destroy partitions of arbitrarily with the "dd" tool if you don't know what you're doing. Now, consider yourself warned.

      1. Plug the key into your system.
      2. Check the path to the key using the command 'dmesg'.
      3. Make the application of the Kali image on your USB key (carefully!):
      dd if=kali.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=512k

      It's that simple! Now you can start from your key and access the environment Kali Linux and install it on disk.

      Persistence in your USB key

      Add to persistence (the ability to back up files and changes after reboot) your Kali Linux image can be very useful in certain occasions. Our example will assume your USB stick is mounted on / dev / sdb. With a key persistence with greater capcité necessary.

      1. Apply the image Kali Linux on your USB key as described above with the tool "dd".
      2. Create and format additional partitions on the key. Our example we will use "gparted" like this:

       gparted /dev/sdb

      3. The layout of your partitions would look like this:

      how,to,install,kali,linux,usb,lunix,distribution,drive,tools,server,operating,systelm,kernel,distros,free,distro
      install kali linux on USB drive - @wikiHard

      4. Proceed to format the new partition. Our example will use the available space. Make sure you name the label "persistence" and format with the ext4 file system.

      how,to,install,kali,linux,usb,lunix,distribution,drive,tools,server,operating,systelm,kernel,distros,free,distro
      install kali linux on USB drive - @wikihard

      5. Once completed, use the "mount" command to make available your persistence USB like this partition :>

      mkdir /mnt/usb
      mount /dev/sdb2 /mnt/usb
      echo "/ union" >> /mnt/usb/persistence.conf
      umount /mnt/usb

      6. Plug the USB key into your system. Make sure that the necessary adjustments are made so that the system boots from the key. When Kali Linux menu on your screen, select "Live Boot" but do not press 'Enter', press the 'Tab' key. This will allow you to add your persistence partition to the boot settings. Simply add "persistence" whenever you wish to have available.
